Fun Facts From Florida: Robbing A Chuck E. Cheese Is A Rite Of Passage
6 October 2009, 9:21 AM. By Alex Alvarez
Three armed men robbed a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Orange County, Florida this morning because robbing liquor stores gets old after a while and sometimes you just want to jump into a ball pit, laugh and forget about your raging meth addiction in between terrifying people. You know?
Investigators say they are not sure whether any children were in the establishment when the robbery occurred as the men entered the store at 8:54 am, six minutes before opening time. The three men, who were all dressed in black were described as being between the ages of 18 and 20 and were seen fleeing the scene in a brown Cadillac.
And this is only the latest in a recent string of Chuck E. Cheese robberies. In June, two armed robbers held up a manager at a Georgia Chuck E. Cheese. Another George Chuck E. Cheese robbery, this time by three men, prompted investigators to wonder whether these restaurants were being targeted specifically, or at least restaurants frequented by people with impeccable taste in bacon-wrapped, ranch dressing-drenched foods:
In addition to the Kennesaw Chuck E. Cheese’s, two other Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurants have been robbed, two Chili’s restaurants, an Applebee’s restaurant, and a Texas Roadhouse.
Delicious.

Good point, indeed! The kids can nap on the air hockey tables because they have air conditioning. And they would be so good at finding prize tickets that they could finally afford 1200 tickets for that disco ball that lights up.
