Escandalo TV Weighs In On Jaime Camil’s Big Gay Kiss

The brilliant social anthropologists over at Escándalo TV have taken a little break from their usual research to weigh in on the impact Jaime Camil’s same-sex kiss on Los Exitosos Pérez would have on society.
Did you know that showing two men kissing during the 7 o’clock hour will make your babies abort themselves? It’s true and Charytin, haver of gay friends, knows this all too well.

So. Let’s get this straight (LULZ!), it’s ok to routinely show this as early afternoon (read: after school) programming Spanish-language television:
But a kiss between two men in a relationship is simply too provocative? Gotcha. It’s good to know that, when we slather ourselves in bodypaint in the company of another woman, it’s cute, but when guys do it, it’s controversial and upsetting. Unless it’s in slow motion. And we’re watching it at home. Alone.

God bless you! If it wasn’t for your posts, I’d have to visit my mom to watch Escandalo. Charytin’s (aka The Crypt Keeper) reaction is the same as most older brown folk. Gay es no bueno.
Years ago, my parents’ friends’ son was arrested for dealing drugs. During the ordeal, he “came out”. When my parents told me the told me the story, I said, “That sucks, he’s gonna have to do serious time.”
My parents screamed, “What! Who cares?! Did you not hear, ‘HE”S GAY’!?!?”
The crypt keeper… ha.
For sure, Latinos would rather see their kids become drug dealers instead of homosexuals. It’s sad.
