[koh-stee-ya], noun

This term is used in many countries, like Peru, to mean “girlfriend.” Literally “rib,” this name likely comes from the biblical story of Adam and Eve, which holds that Eve was formed from Adam’s rib. 

Me gusta hacer cosquillas a mi costilla.

I like to tickle my girlfriend.
