Jaime Camil Wants You To Watch Him Make Out With A Dude, Damn It

Sexy actor person Jaime Camil is upset over Mexican television’s decision to censor his on-screen kiss with Los Exitosos Pérez co-star José Rhon. In the series, Camil plays a gay news anchor who is dating Rhon’s character.
Says Camil:
They’re editing the kissing scenes featuring the characters Martín, Gonzalo and Tomás. They’re cutting them down for some reason I still don’t understand. It’s a little frustrating as an actor because you go through the creative process with this character of yours and then they cut it.
The actor went on to add that, by cutting or censoring same-sex kisses and relationships, Mexican television is turning a blind eye to many people’s real-life relationships in Mexico.
Camil mentioned that he feels there isn’t much he can do to combat this censorship - which calls to mind Sofia Vergara’s own failed talks with her own show’s producers regarding the portrayal of her Colombian character, Gloria, on Modern Family.
So, maybe, just maybe, it’s up to viewers who want to see a same-sex relationship unfold on Spanish-language TV or who want to see Gloria as more than a hot mama stereotype to voice their views and impact change in Mexican and American television. Or, you know. We can just remain complacent and figure that having a gay or Latina character on TV is good enough. [Ed. note: It isn't.]

he really doesn’t care about the Mexican people. he want it to come out so he could get credit for being a macho in a Gay role. then people would place him way up there in the Pedro infante lore.
