Selena Gomez To Have Her Own Clothing Line

Selena Gomez, actress and baby unicorn tamer, is coming out with her own line of clothing. Surprise?

Selena’s line, which will be called Dream Out Loud, isn’t due in stores until fall of 2010, but she’s already got big plans for it, including the inclusion of eco-friendly materials and inspirational quotes. Also? Every time you put on an article of clothing from Selena’s collection, a pegasus gets its wings and Jon Gosselin gets a herpes outbreak.

Selena describes her vision:

Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I’ve traveled, I found such a love of clothes. It’s really always been a dream of mine to have a line.

With my line, I really want to give the customer options on how they can put their own looks together. I want the pieces that can be easy to dress up or down, and the fabrics being eco-friendly and organic are super important. Also, the tags will all have some of my inspirational quotes on them. I’m just looking to send a good message.

The line, which has been described as “feminine and bohemian,” will also feature handbags, shoes and jewelry.

Selena also happened to be the muse behind a fashion line based on her Disney Channel series, The Wizards of Waverly Place. Let’s hope her new line looks nothing like this:
