Sofia Vergara Reveals Awesome Modern Family Guest Appearance

Sofia Vergara, thespian, revealed a brilliant guest appearance set to happen in an upcoming episode of our most favorite sitcom ever in the whole wide world, Modern Family. Benjamin Bratt, he of the intense stare and various roles on law-related shows, will play Sofia’s character, Gloria’s, ex-husband - JAVIER THE LATINO. Javier, as you know if you’ve been following the show, is just your regular, everyday hot-blooded Latino male - he routinely shirks his fatherly duties, can’t hold down a job, is prone to gambling and often gets into fights. He also once bit a baby on the face just to see what would happen. Typical.
Sofia also shared her dream casting choices for the show, which will likely fall of deaf ears at ABC seeing how her show’s producers don’t give a runny shit what she thinks: Sophia Loren as her mother (YES!) and Shakira as… whatever (can she act?).
The actress reminds us that, not only does she play a mother to Manny on the show, she also has her own Manny in real life. She’s preparing to send her son off to college but says that, in true “Latina mom” form, she not-so-secretly wishes for him to fail so that he won’t stay away and leave her alone. Kind of like how our mom keeps our brother’s testicles safely tucked away in a special cojon cajon. (Just kidding, hermanito!)
