How To Tell If Your Jack Ass Is Narcissistic

There are a lot of jack asses out there, but the narcissist is a special breed of a-hole recently coined by Rush Limbaugh, or so it would seem since the word “narcissistic” has become a top search term on Google after he used it to describe President Obama. In order to help you identify whether you are, in fact, in the presence of a narcissistic person, we’ve devised a guide.
True narcissism is a personality disorder. One that develops from a profound lack of self-esteem, but instead of being self-deprecating and funny, your narcissistic personality tends to put himself up on a pedestal in order to cope with his fears. For this reason, people with narcissistic tendencies are often said to have a God complex.
Listen, there’s nothing wrong with using a little positive self-talk to help yourself act as-if sometimes, but the narcissistic personality doesn’t let anyone else’s needs get a word in edgewise because, you see, they have a profound lack of empathy for anyone else’s position.Rendering them abusive pantywaists.
Since narcissistic turds go inward for gratification, they tend to be obsessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power, and prestige. For example, you might hear them say something like, “I’m a professional!” as an excuse to belittle you at your job. In actuality, they fear that they are anything but adequate at their profession.
Seventy-five percent of narcissists are men, but women can be narcissistic, too. Eva Peron, the former first lady of Argentina, is considered by some psychologists to be an example of one such woman because she used people up and spit them out in order to steadily rise up the ladder of professional success.
Narcissists tend to evaluate people by what they can get out of them.They are terrified of intimacy, so in the beginning, they act loving to gain your loyalty, but once they’ve gotten what they want from you, they will begin to show their more abusive side. Talking openly about the ways that they have betrayed you.

If you’re still not sure what a narcissist is, take this personality test. Or take the advice of Lisa E. Scott, author of It’s All About Him: How To Identify And Avoid The Narcissist Male Before You Get Hurt. The narcissist, when sensing that he’s lost you, is a master manipulator who can make the most innocent person feel as though they are at fault for his abusive behavior. You might sit down to talk to him about something he’s done and you end up apologizing.
Don’t fall for it! Psychologists believe the narcissist cannot change and will always be in it to suck the life out of you.
