Sylvester Stallone said some kind of degrading stuff about Brazil at Comic Con today. While the U.S. press hasn't even noted it, Brazilians, who are like the Twitter mafia there's so many of them on there, started a "Cala Boca Sylvester Stallone" ("Shut Your Mouth Sylvester Stallone") campaign on the social networking site after the star said he chose to shoot his latest flm, The Expendables, in Brazil because, "there you can hurt people while shooting. You can blow up the whole country and they still say to you, 'thank you and here's a monkey for you to take home.'"
Damn, Sly. That hurts.
Stallone issued his apology statement in Brazil because he doesn't really need to be known as a Mel Gibson over here.
"I apologize to all Brazilians and to the country's film commission. All my experiences in Brazil were fantastic and I told all my friends to shoot there. I have much respect for the great Brazilian nation. Again I apologize. With love, Sly. "
