Puerto Rican drug lord Junior Capsula, (pictured), who was arrested last month in Puerto Rico after being chased through the Caribbean for the past eleven years for leading a drug trafficking ring in Haiti, has a sex tape that's "selling like hotcakes" on the streets of the Dominican Republic. The video features Capsula, whose real name is Jose Figueroa Agosto, having sex with multiple women, including girlfriend Sobeida Felix Morel, who is also under arrest by Puerto Rican authorities.

What makes this story even juicier is that the footage was confiscated from his property when Capsula escaped a police chase through the streets of Santo Domingo in September. This means, of course, that it was likely someone on the force who leaked the footage. Yesterday and Monday Dominican authorities arrested seventeen people in relation to the marketing of the video, which has sold thousands of copies to people from all walks of life, so far. The video has been so popular that the price has doubled from $50.00 RD ($1.50 US) to $100.00 RD ($3.00 US), proving that narco + sex tape = perfect media storm.

Ah, one thing you can say about the DR/PR big time drug dealers: they are a very, very different type of Narco than the Mexicans and the South Americans. For one, they do tend to be young, Americanized men who work with very small numbers of people. They don't do big cartels or families. They are not as well organized or powerful or as murder-y as their Mexican and SA counterparts and they do get caught very often. They also tend to go to the USA a lot or are US citizens or greencard holders. I for one would like to see less ugly middle aged men or paunchy mustachioed men with ten gallon hats, and more hot Puerto Ricans with tribal tattoos and groomed eyebrows in my narco news. Makes for a better pic, you know? Oh, and sex tapes are awesome.
