JLo Producing Latina Nanny Dramedy

Jennifer Lopez is co-producing a dramedy for ABC that will “center on three branches of an extended Los Angeles family — as told through the eyes of their three Latina nannies.” Friends co-executive producer Alexa Junge will executive produce and create along with JLo's Nuyorican Productions. This show will, no doubt, do for Latinos what The Sopranos did for Italian-Americans.

The project is a second attempt for the Lopez-Junge team who previously failed to get a show called "Ayuda", about L.A. nannies, off the ground at Showtime. JLo was also slated to star in the 2010 film The Governess about a thief who poses as, you got it, a nanny to pull off her next heist. Finally, she also played a nanny in the 1995 film Mi Familia.
