Julio Iglesias' Ex Says He Was A Sex Addict/Drug Pusher

Julio Iglesias' former girlfriend, Tahitian model/actress Vaitiare Hirshon, has penned a memoir in which she accuses the singer, whom she dated from 1982 to 1988, (They met when she was 17 and he was 38. Nice.) of being a jealous, controlling horndog who frequently engaged in threesomes and pushed cocaine on her and introduced her to marijuana. From Spanish site La Voz Libre:

"Every night was a different woman in our bed. They were like he likes them, big breasts and ready for anything," Vaitaiare writes in her memoirs where she also reveals the advice Julio Iglesias gave her on her clothing. "Do not go without bra, and never wear more than seven inch-heels. Anything more than that is for prostitutes, and you must be a 'lady'," recounts the model. Vaitiare explains the couple engaged in threesomes. "Most men have the fantasy of a threesome. Julio has been able to make it a reality," she says.

Vaitiare doesn't only talk about her sex life with the singer. She doesn't hesitate to give further details about the life of Julio Iglesias, hitherto unknown, such as his drug use. "When we entered the room I felt miserable. Julio gives me cocaine. I refuse, I've been drug free for months. He insists and I finally inhale the line," she says, clarifying, "Julio had nothing to do with my addictions. That was my responsibility.  He only introduced me to marijuana because I had already tried cocaine before. It was very normal in the 80's."

The model and singer met in 1982 when she was just 17 years-old and was chosen to shoot a music video.

The book entitled Muñeca de Trapo, or Rag Doll, is presumably being published in Spanish since that is where Ms. Bandera's career mostly happened in the 1980's and 90's. Here's a clip of some of her handiwork:

In perhaps related news, Inside Costa Rica reported last week that Julio Iglesias shunned reporters while appearing at a concert in Heredia, even going so far as to sneak out the kitchen door of the hotel where he was staying. The reason was a mystery, but perhaps we've found the answer?
