Little Frankie Muniz from Malcolm In The Middle is in the news after his girlfriend Elycia Turnbow, aka Elycia Marie, filed a police report in Phoenix stating the 25 year-old actor "grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide." and then "punched" Turnbow "in the back of the head, and threw her into a wall while in the downstairs bedroom."

According Turnbow's testimony in the police report,  the couple was arguing over "past relationships" when Muniz (who's listed as "Francisco" in the report, heh), pulled out a gun and pointed it at his head. Turnbow allegedly called Muniz's bandmate and had him take Muniz to the hospital for evaluation. When Muniz returned home some time later, Turnbow alleges, is when he punched her. According to the police report, Turnbow showed the officer who responded to a disorderly conduct call made by Muniz, a black semi-automatic .380 handgun hidden in a closet. Turnbow said she put it there while Muniz sought medical treatment. The officer said the gun wasn't loaded but the magazine had bullets in it and the officer impounded it for safekeeping. There were no signs of injury and no other parties involved, so after failing to get one of them to leave the house, the police left but not before warning both Muniz and Turnbow that they'd be charged with disorderly conduct and incarcerated if there was another call to their address.

Muniz's testimony in the police report differed a lot from Turnbow's. He told the police, "I grabbed the case, but not the gun...it isn't even loaded." According to Muniz he only went to the hospital because he bumped his head in a fall while they were arguing and thought he might have a concussion, but he left before seeking treatment because he was feeling better. Which doesn't exactly jibe with his claim that there was no physical altercation between the couple. Muniz said that when he returned home from the hospital, he decided to sleep in the downstairs bedroom while Turnbow slept upstairs. It was then, he alleges, that he awoke to Turnbow "hitting him in the face about prior relationships." Muniz told officers that he feared things were "getting out of control" so he called them. He also denied hitting Turnbow saying she is the woman he wants to marry.

Muniz moved to Scottsdale, Turnbow's hometown, in 2008. He is forgoing acting to pursue an Indy racecar driving career these days and playing drums in a band called You Hang Up, while Turnbow claims to be a publicist. According to the Phoenix New Times, the only evidence of her company is on her Facebook page and Twitter, and the only clients listed are Frankie, Frankie's auto racing team, and Frankie's band.

Which makes the statement issued to E! from Frankie's people all the more suspect.

"A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping," Muniz's rep said in a statement. "There were no bruises on anyone. Neither left the residence that night."

"He was not suicidal. She was not assaulted," the rep continued. "They have been together since the incident; are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationships.

"What everyone is learning today is now 72 hours old for them, so they've moved on from it and are living their lives and don't want to go back and relive what happened," his rep added exclusively to E! News.

"Nobody was arrested, they've since resolved it and they both just want some space from it now."

Yesterday morning, Muniz tweeted the following message for his followers:

The table all set for Valentine's Day dinner...I love @elyciamarie

Attached was a picture of rose petal-strewn table set for four. Awww.

It's the angle. If you see her straight on, she's not all that. Which is why she mostly poses at an angle.
