Sheriff Arpaio's Busted Officer Pregnant With Narco Baby

Hey did you hear the one about the Arizona sheriff whose officers were arrested for trafficking people and drugs? One of them was also sleeping with a Sinoloa cartel member and she's pregnant. Oh Joe Arpaio, you are so good at catching illegal behavior.

Hernandez is the officer Arpaio says is pregnant with the child of another person arrested in this trafficking sting, Francisco "Lorenzo" Arce-Torres, a known member of the Sinaloa drug cartel and the leader of the Phoenix-based drug-trafficking group that was busted on Tuesday by investigators from a multijurisdiction drug task force after a year-long investigation.

Navarrette, a ten-year veteran of the Sheriff's office who served on a special human-trafficking task force, is accused of using Maricopa County Sheriff's Office intelligence to guide smugglers through the Valley and onto California. When he was arrested, Navarrette had two undocumented immigrants in his home.
