Salma Hayek Will Play A Drug Cartel Queen To Prove She Hasn't Gone "Soft"

Salma Hayek is telling the latest issue of Redbook magazine that she agreed to play a drug cartel queen an up coming Oliver Stone film to prove she hasn't gone "soft": 

"He [Oliver Stone] asked if I'd gone 'all soft' because I'm a mother. I said, 'Yes, but I can be the devil if I need to, because after all, I'm an actress.' 

Bajale, pinche "actress." Why don't you try to play something other than the "hot Latina" role you've done a million times over? And your Serendipity character from Dogma doesn't count. 

Anyway, the movie Salma is referring to is Savages. Also co-starring are John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Benicio Del Toro, Demian Bichir and, um, Blake Lively.
