Javier Bardem Confirmed To Play The Bad Guy In Skyfall, The Upcoming Bond Movie

Javier Bardem has been confirmed to play the villain in Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond film. In the photo above, which was taken in London this morning, Javier is pictured with Sam Mendes, the director, and the rest of the cast.

If I had to guess, I'd say Javier landed this role because he did such great job playing Anton Chigurh, the bad guy in No Country For Old Men. Javier seems to enjoy playing antagonistic roles because during the photo call he jokingly told the press  "Who told you a villain is a bad person?"

I don't think a villain is a bad person, Javier. In fact, I think of setting up a closet altar for Soraya Montenegro everyday. I never go through with it because I live in a tiny NYC apt. where my many mouse roommates would simply dump on it all day. Still, I think about it.
