Claudia Elizabeth Avila Bit Daughter's Face To Punish Her

"Claudia Elizabeth Avila, 27, was booked in the city jail Tuesday morning on a charge of injury to a child. The complaint alleges Avila bit her 10-year-old daughter on the cheek and finger last week, causing bruising and bite marks on the girl's body. She was trying to discipline her daughter, the complaint said."

Claudia, a Brownsville, Texas resident, was arrested after "someone" reported the incident to CPS. She posted bail and is now out and about.
