Mexican Presidental Candidate Peña Nieto Can't Remember What Books He's Read

Last week Mexican presidential candidate Enrique Peña Nieto showed up to Guadalajara's FIL (a popular book fair) to make his love for books known -- and, you know, peddle some politics on the side. But then shit hit the fan when a reporter asked Peña to name some of his favorite books which completely stumped him:
"What literature has changed my life? Well, I've read many like, novels, which I particularly liked. It's hard for me to remember the title of the books. The bible is one of them. Some biblical passages -- because I didn't read the whole bible -- were very important in my life especially during adolescence. And, because of my political vocation, other books like La Silla Del Aguila by Krauze, and another book by him about caudillos, I can't remember the exact title."
From crediting the wrong authors (La Silla Del Aguila was written by Carlos Fuentes, not Enrique Krauze) to forgetting titles all together, Enrique's answer was clumsy, awkward and hilarious. Now fake Mexican bookstore ads like this one float the internetz:
