Honduran congress is currently debating whether to criminalize the sale and use of the morning-after pill because conservative, church-backed fools erroneously believe the pills cause abortions. And since abortions in Honduras are currently illegal and punishable with up to 6 years of prison, hundreds of Honduran women are protesting the anti-morning-after pill proposal because it aims to penalize any person caught selling, distributing, or even informing others about the pill. If conservatives get their way, Honduras will become the first country in Latin America to ban the sale and use of the pill.
Ladies, there is no reason why the State should be all up in your chocha. Let's pretend the morning-after pill becomes illegal and that you get raped. Then what? You'd be forced to keep some asshole's baby because some other asshole's religious and moral beliefs will be unfairly imposed on you. Is the second "moral" asshole going to pay your bills? Is he going to endure the psychological trauma for you? No. So fuck that.
