Remember when we told you all about the lovely and fabulous "Geisha Facial" a while back? The spa treatment involves getting one's face slathered in nightingale poop because, like sperm, it promises to make your skin clear and beautiful. Well it turns out that the treatment has at least one high-profile fan. Posh Spice!:

Victoria, who has long battled problem skin, puts her new clear complexion down to a bizarre new beauty regime involving bird poo.

And it seems David has been getting involved too.

You know these two are literally into all kinds of shit.

Victoria, 34, has been regularly indulging in £100 Geisha Facials, using a paste made from nightingale droppings, to combat acne she has suffered since her teens.

A pal told Closer magazine: 'When Victoria was in Japan recently she was admiring the local women’s clear skin and discovered it was down to these facials.

So there you have it. Next time you're wandering around Central Park, look up and see if you can't get the same treatment for free, courtesy of a pigeon or twelve. Much better than cleansing and occasionally exfoliating.

Lots of people have an issue with baby dolls, from the argument that they enforce gender norms by being fiercely marketed to little "would-be mothers" to the impression that they're creepy. But, really? They can be wonderful outlets for creativity and a great means of educating young children on how to care for others. Mostly, though, they make a wonderful gift for that unique group of giftees known as "the children of people you hate." "Baby Wee Wee" is an ideal example of a gift for such a group. This doll, as the little British girls in the commercial note with glee, "wriggles his willy" right before he pees in your face.

Don't believe us? Watch the hideous commercial, after the jump:

Madonna is seemingly taking her fashion cues from her younger, more Cuban doppelgänger, Lourdes. For her "Stick & Sweet" tour, Madonna recently wore a pair of thick, black-rimmed glasses very similar to ones Loudres often wears. Cute. Only Madonna looks a little "ghost of hipsters past" in the specs, whereas Lourdes looks "kind of cute:"

Lourdes, who at just 11 already has her own distinct fashion style, was spotted wearing the pair earlier this year before her mother managed to get her clutches on them.

You can get your own, similar pair from Moscot. Their "Zelig" model is admittedly pretty spiffy-looking. Check it, and Lourdes lookin' like an adorable baby owl, out after the jump:

Cute, no? It retails for $169.00. We just bought a new pair of glasses this past weekend (Were you aware that you could see individual leaves on trees? That was news to us.), so we know that's not really a terrible amount. Now you, too, can get that Lourdes Leon Look (R)!

A sculpture of the Virgin Mary covered in rat poison labels will be on display as part of artist Jason Clay Lewis' "Drop Dead Gorgeous" exhibit at 31GRAND gallery in Manhattan. Lewis' work often uses religious images and themes like "purity." He also paints "skull pin-ups" - sexy girls who look like they've just been attacked by a flesh-eating virus of some sort.

But is it useful art? The industry is all about capitalism anyway, JCL. Look into coca virgins - our tip to you.

In the cutest emergency airlift you can imagine, 370 Magellanic penguins were airlifted by the Brazilian air-force 2,000 miles back to their home. The confused penguins, who normally live in southern Argentina and Chile, somehow ended up on the beaches of Rio, way north of their normal stomping (waddling?) grounds.

Oceanographer Lauro Barcellos said that 2008 has seen a dramatic rise as hundreds of the animals have been carried to Brazil by strong ocean currents. "This year is completely anomalous," Barcellos said. "I've worked in this field for 35 years, and I have never seen anything like this." Most of the penguins washing up on Brazilian shores are emaciated or deceased following the ocean journey.

Pics of the rescued penguins, and a happy ending, after the jump:
This year alone, almost 1,000 penguins washed up in northeastern Brazil, which is 2,000 miles away from their breeding grounds. Out of that 1,000, twenty percent have already died, and the rest were too weak to survive the flight home.

The penguins receive glucose injections, vitamins, and antibiotic treatments for worms and fungus. "Sometimes they're not strong enough to breathe," said Thiago Muniz, one of the veterinarians. "A lot have died because of fatigue."

The ones that were strong enough to be released back into the wild got to ride on an air force C-130 turboprop plane which would normally transport heavy military cargo. Once they reached southwest Brazil, the penguins were herded towards the ocean until natural instincts kicked in.

Experts hope a small group of older penguins released along with the young ones will help guide them south to Patagonian waters. Onlookers cheered as the young Magellanic penguins were set free on a beach in southern Brazil and scampered into the ocean, the International Fund for Animal Welfare said in a statement.

And there you have it, your daily dose of scampering penguins.
