The result of a German father, Colombian mother, raised in Miami but now living in NYC means I am opinionated, always on time, able to dance a killer salsa, unable to stand Hispanics who are ashamed of their heritage & deny it & will one day introduce my future kids to The Almighty "Chancleta." Trust.

Can someone from DR pls answer something for me: what does “rubia” mean in DR?? In my country is means “blonde haired”.
I’m asking bc I just caught Sammy on El Gordo & La Flaca (queue my own self disgust). Lili asked him directly if his wife, Sonia, also uses the cream to “care” for her skin. He replied that she doesn’t bc she is “rubia”.
If it means blonde haired, then a) he’s un arrepentido & blind as hell bc blonde, she is not & b) he’s un ignorante bc her hair color has nothing to do w her using a skin cream. If it means light skinned, then this confirms what we all suspect already: he began using that “skin healing” cream for his “sun exposure damage” knowing full well it would also lighten his skin.
And Fatso & Twiggy further proved what a joke they are as “journalists” by failing to ask the obvious: so, skin cream aside, wtf is up w the hair straightening & green contacts, Sammy????? Que pendejo.

This story immediately made me think of what my housekeeper told me about getting into the U.S. from Peru. She is now 30 & crossed when she was 19, beautiful, very petite & incredibly sweet girl. Walked & hitch hiked the entire way from Peru to Mexico. She said she began taking birth control pills months in advance of the journey bc of all the rape stories she’d heard about. She told me that 11yrs later, she still cannot begin to discuss what she endured during that crossing. The only thing I take comfort in is knowing that unlike many who go thru hell to get here to only end up in continued misery working for peanuts & getting treated like shit, this girl is with us. We pay her really well, give her 2 weeks paid vacation a yr, paid legal holidays & an xmas bonus. Since she still doesn’t have “papers”, we can’t give her medical insurance, so we pay a percentage of any & all her medical expenses. I always think how this is someone’s child & I’d want the same done to mine.

You are correct, it was another person…my mixup. See, when people actually take the time to register & familiarize themselves with a site instead of throwing useless shots under the “Guest” comfort blanket, it makes it easier for the rest of us to identify & understand their nature, style &/or comprehension level in their replies from previous posts.
Doing this would have further allowed you to accomplish a few things: a) knowing that the editors of this site are pretty quick to correct their own mistakes. therefore, the repressed high school geography teacher in you did not need to spring up with the red pen so damn fast. (i bet u honk the horn the second the light turns green too); b) my previous comments on how i cannot stand it when someone’s only contribution is to correct the grammar, spelling &/or minor mistake of another & completely ignores the topic at hand. i wouldn’t do it as a guest in a person’s home nor would i do it on someone’s site. start your own for that; and c) my correcting Cindy’s spelling of a country. Again, a little hmwrk would have allowed you to see that i did so quite a while since the piece went up & with the upmost of respect & manners.
Lastly, you’d have gathered that I am the wrong bitch to fuck with.
And now, I am done with you, Rand McNally.

Before I decide the manner in which I’d like to reply to your most recent post, I have a question for you? Are you the same “Guest” that was picking fights with Alex on the Cuba thing a few days ago?
