Whitten and his lawyer sat through a CNN interview that raised questions about the Latinos (perhaps former employees?) who are picketing outside the hotel in Taos and about LULAC prompting Latinos not to patronize any of Mr. Whitten’s businesses.

But they didn’t ask the questions I have:
1. How do you open 20 hotels before this one and not come across this issue? Didn’t anyone at the other 20 hotels say something?
2. Why is the lawyer producing more cringe-worthy moments than the guy who owns the place?

And yet, I’m still going to watch because the one thing I do find interesting about this show is the Latina mother-daughter combo, Patricia Alcorta and Jacky Fierro. In the premier episode, the pair were invited to a polo match and, being true “Brown Timers,” showed up 2 hours late! Also, I can’t help but watch a show where the mom, Patricia, sports Sharpie eyebrows and a cleavage-revealing, polka-dot dress to a polo match.

Their specific nationality has not yet been mentioned. Another mom on the show did refer to the “D.F. and Monterrey” so my assumption is that Patricia and Jacky are Mexican. But their nationality doesn’t really matter much to me, I’m more interested in the way they are going to be portrayed on the show. The producers gave each mother-daughter pair a nickname and Patricia and Jacky are called, “The Wannabe’s.” (Is someone at the Style Network reading Guanabee?) Even their Bio on the show’s Web site describes Patricia as “a fiesty and popular gossip” and Jacky as having a “unique look.” My curiosity of how Texan Latinas will be portrayed on the show is overflowing and I am definitely going to be watching this one.

Anyhoo… they have come out with their new nail polish line for Fall / Winter 2009. And guess what? It’s straight up España (Or should I say Ethpaña?) and they spared no expense on the naming of these gems. For example, “Can You Tapas This?” or “Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow” are in the mix. And my personal favorite is “Conquist Adorable Color.”

I would not call it romantic, but his sexual advances (if you can call them that) were cracking me up. View from 4:20 to 6:25 on the clip.

However, the FDA has voted to remove drugs such as Vicodin and Percocet from the market. They claim that those drugs pose a risk for overdose and severe liver injury. And my liquid lunch does not?

As a result, all my parties for the entire year have been jammed into one massive party scheduled for this weekend. You gotta get it while the gettin’ is good.

I personally am not a fan of Texas A&M but I am curious about that “scathing review” and whether or not they will allow her to return to the faculty.

The event brought in about 12 possible suitors but one was an undercover blogger! Scandal! He posted his experiences and noted that the questions they asked him related only to sex. Shocking, right?

One guy, only known as Roberto, secured a date with Kourtney and exited the store without a shirt. But I don’t see that as finding anything special. It seems to me that finding a shirtless Roberto in Miami is about as likely as finding GW Bush in the ball pit at Chuck E. Cheese.

Anyhoo, those kids were clearly not the top 5% of the class as they were all caught on camera. And the worst part? It only delayed school 90 minutes.

But brace yourselves because Dane Cook is also scheduled to be on the show - thus deeming that show’s title semi-false.
