District Judge Marcel Kopcow sentenced Allen Andrade to life in prison without possibiilty of parole this afternoon for beating to death a transgendered woman in her Greeley apartment last July. Here’s the video.

Defense Says ‘No Hate Crime’ In Angie Zapata Trial, Prosecution Proves Otherwise

The defense for Allen Ray Andrade, the accused killer of transgendered Colorado teen Angie Zapata, rested today saying Andrade did not commit a hate crime, but was reacting to the “lie” Angie told about her gender. But the cops found a dildo at the scene with only Andrade’s DNA on it. Whoops.

The trial of Allen Ray Andrade who is accused of murdering Colorado transgender teen Angie Zapata , (pictured), begins today. It marks the first time a hate crime under the sexual orientation section of the law goes to trial in America.
