Update: Binghamton Gunman Identified As Jiverly Voong

Thirteen people, including gunman Jiverly Voong, are dead following the hostage situation at an immigration center in Binghamton, New York. Voong had used his car to block the back door of the building, then entered through the front entrance, firing a high-powered gun.

At least four people Thirteen people have been killed in a hostage situation at the American Civic Associations building in Binghamton, New York. The shooting was done by an Asian man in his 20s in possession of a high-powered rifle. The man is said to have blocked the building’s back door before opening fire.

Teddy Kennedy Suffered Seizures At Obama Luncheon

Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Massachusetts) was rushed from Statuary Hall in the Capitol to the hospital during a Presidential inaugural luncheon with Congress this afternoon after reportedly suffering seizures. Emergency personnel wheeled the Senator off as, witnesses report, he was still convulsing.

US Airways Plane Crash In Hudson River

US Airways Flight 1549, an Airbus A320, crashed in the Hudson River on the west side of Manhattan 30 mins ago on its way from LaGuardia Airport in Queens to Charlotte, North Carolina. Rescuers fear hypothermia for any survivors.
