In an attempt to appeal to Hispanics, the NBA has launched a marketing campaign today titled “éne-bé-a”. Their desire to increase exposure with an untapped market is not a bad idea in itself, but it would help if they made a concerted effort to define who their target audience is.

Carmelo Anthony Is Surprised People Know He’s Boricua

Carmelo Anthony was pleasantly surprised to find himself on Hispanic Business magazine’s list of 100 most influential Hispanics. Not only because he isn’t particularly influential, but because he didn’t realize that people were aware of his Puerto Rican background.

Dallas Morning News Blog Says La La Vasquez Is Playing The Race Card. We Beg To Differ.

MTV something or other La La Vasquez is the fiance of Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony who made headlines this week when she got ejected from Carmelo’s game in Dallas against the Mavericks. She says there were racist taunts against her involved and the Dallas Morning News, of course, says she’s playing the race card.
