Mudslide Buries The Entire Town Of Verapaz In El Salvador

As we reported this weekend, disaster struck the country of El Salvador Sunday before dawn when heavy rains, reportedly not directly from Hurricane Ida, caused mudslides that have now killed 124 people and completely buried the town of Verapaz, leaving about 60 people missing.

Neighbors recover the body of Manuel Segovia after his home was buried by a mudslide caused by Hurricane Ida in La Libertad, El Salvador. Mudslides buried the town and killed at least 91.

Four Boys Dead Near Barcelona After Sports Center Collapse

Brazilian Reborn in Christ Megachurch Collapse Kills 8, Injures 96

The roof of a Reborn In Christ megachurch collapsed Sunday in Sao Palo between services injuring 96 people and killing eight . The church was relatively empty which is a good thing since it can hold about 2,000 at full capacity and would have had 1000 people in it just moments earlier or later, witnesses told the press.
