Dominican Republic Bans Abortion, Feminists And Catholic Cardinals Weigh In

The Dominican Republic has added a clause to its constitution stating that the right to live is “inviolable from birth until death,” this banning all forms of abortion. The clause also bolsters the country’s ban on the death penalty.

The Dominican Republic has added an amendment to its constitution that prohibits human trafficking in all its forms. Which is really such a step up from other countries’ proposed “Make Sex Trafficking Mandatory” amendments.

A Dominican judge has had it with his countrymen’s habit of naming their offspring after car brands, cartoons and venereal diseases. Names of like “Querida Piña” and “Seno Jimenez,” argues Judge Central Electoral Commission judge Jose Angel Aquinas, should be banned. And he’s created a proposal to do just that.
